Oregon Grape grows naturally around the Olympic Peninsula, a region known for its stunning landscapes. This summer, I gathered some of this unique fruit and made jam, using tons of sugar and no pectin. I cooked it too long, resulting in a product more like fruit leather than jam, but the flavor was excellent. I'll definitely try again next year!
In the meantime, I have an art painting on gallery-wrapped stretched canvas measuring 7" x 5" with a 1-1/2" edge, varnished with a sawtooth hanger and bumpers, ready to hang.
